Machining quality matters in both materials
Material name alone does not guarantee good play. Thickness, two-sided machining, surface tolerance, joint alignment, frame support and installation levelling must be evaluated together.
Which project needs which option?
Precision-ground Marmara stone can be a strong value solution with correct frame support. Imported slate may be preferred for international tournament conventions, specific technical specifications or premium requirements.
