How to calculate room size for a billiard table
Calculate the right room size by combining table dimensions, cue length, wall clearance and furniture layout.

Basic calculation
Minimum room size is found by adding cueing clearance on both sides of the table dimensions. Columns, radiators, door swings and fixed furniture reduce the usable area, so wall-to-wall dimensions alone are not enough.
Minimum versus ideal
Minimum dimensions make play possible; ideal dimensions improve backswing, circulation and spectator comfort. Premium projects benefit from an additional 20–30 cm clearance on each side.
Manufacturer note
Every room, table and service requirement is different. Final dimensions, materials, prices and application decisions should be based on verified technical information or a site survey.
